In your graphics tab you need to enable the atmoshpheric and water shaders to get the full WindLight effect.

I’m glad I’m not the only one having problems.. initially, I had tried to click the link to download the latest version from within the login screen on the current viewer.. it would immediately crash the browser so I couldn’t download. I went to secondlife.com and found the post in the blog with the download link and did it that way.. it took forever to get logged in, but I’m finally in now. However.. is it supposed to look just like windlight? I clicked on version 19.something or other, but now I’m hoping I didn’t install another windlight client.. On my desktop, the icon says Secondlifereleasecandidate.. is that the right one?

I miss it, also. It was impossible to read in the few days before it crashed and burned.. I really hope it’ll be back. In the meantime, I’ve started using google reader, but its just not the same.
