I’m pleased to announce that an accomplished SL broadcaster will be featured on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe this evening at 6pm SLT. Gabrielle Riel of Radio Riel will talk about her radio station and experiences in the Caledon sims. I’ll be there to cheer on and show my support for Gabrielle. How about you other broadcasters? Come on out and show your solidarity!

Keiko performed at the Sailors Cove Theater Wednesday night to a crowd of over 100 people. Sadly her stream capacity was only 100 slots. The crowd was well behaved too. Well not much choice since the number of avatars brought the frame rates way down in the 3-4 FPS zone and even lower for those with low end computers.
The show was to be recorded by MTV at Keiko’s RL home and by an inworld film crew. I hope the filmer’s system could capture a lot better frame rates and less grey people than I had.
KONA Radio had some record numbers too peaking at 73 listeners at the time the show started and then 60 listeners after Keiko’s set. Several folks expressed an interest in the station so I hope we get more listeners from this exposure.*

I’d also like to give this opportunity to recognize the awesome work of Izabella and Tasha the estate managers. Jojamela Soon who runs the theaters and to Fanci,Abella,Ravishal,& Delinda for participating in security during the event. All that could have gone wrong did not happen.

Sailors Cove Theater is pleased to announce that MTV’s award winning documentary series, “True Life”, produced by Ben Rosen, will be filming part of their new episode “I Live Another Life on the Web” currently in production during Keiko Takamura’s live music concert at the Sailors Cove Theater and Park on Wednesday, January 23rd at 6pm.

Sailors Cove Theater, located on the beautiful sims of Sailors Cove and Fishers Island, is a privately owned non-profit Live Music Venue in a Beautiful outdoor park setting. The Sailors Cove Sims are a New England Sailing Community themed group of sims dedicated to providing SL residents an enjoyable low lag experience for their Sailing, Residential and Live Music experiences.

Sailors Cove Theater strives to bring you the best LIVE Musical talents of the finest artists in Second Life. We have regularly scheduled shows on a weekly basis and special appearances. Our calendar can be seen on our website at http://www.slsailorscove.com

So I tell my friend Razzap that smoking is bad for his lungs. He then tells me he has no lungs. I then ask him why the smoke is purple. He mentions that martians don’t go potty. I slowly edge away from him.
